Robert
Robert Cohen is a master craftsman who caringly restores antique furniture using a variety of traditional techniques. He grew up in Alexandria, Egypt surrounded by fine antique furniture that his discerning father collected over many years in Alexandria's heyday. After spending time in Paris and New York, he arrived in Israel in 1971 where he completed his studies in wood work. He then went to the United Kingdom to learn specialized antique furniture restoration techniques from Master Craftsmen.

In 1987, Robert became the head of Israel Museum's Wood Restoration Department where he maintained and restored antique furniture and frames, wooden Judaica pieces, period rooms, and old synagogues.

In 1995, he opened his own antique furniture restoration studio. Robert is married to Binia, a well known and accomplished artist. They have five children.

Binia
Binia Cohen studied in the Chelsea School of Art before transferring to Jerusalem's Bezalel Academy to complete her degree in Fine Art, later specializing in the field of decorative paint finishes and murals.

Employing a wide range of techniques, ranging from faux marble to ragging and sponging, Binia works with architects and interior designers to achieve a unique atmosphere in each home and project.
